Xiamen Boutique Hotel — Guest Room Art Program
Xiamen, Fujian, China
Scope: Handcrafted ink-wash landscape canvas panels, custom framed to match the warm walnut millwork throughout each room. Each piece was produced in a matching edition to ensure color and texture consistency across all floors.
“Color consistency across all 68 rooms held up exactly as specified. We’ve worked with three other suppliers on previous projects — this was the first time we didn’t need a single replacement after installation.” — FF&E procurement manager, boutique hotel group
Hong Kong Design Hotel — Gallery Wall Curation
Hong Kong SAR, China
Scope: A layered gallery-wall concept for public and private spaces: handcrafted abstract oils paired with botanical giclée prints, displayed on floating timber ledges. The mixed-format approach — portrait oil canvases alongside landscape giclée panels — creates a collected, editorial feel that reads naturally in both intimate and wide-angle views.
“We sent a very specific palette reference and a brief that called for both print and handcrafted texture in the same project. The production team handled the mixed specification without any back-and-forth — that level of consistency across formats is genuinely unusual at this price point.” — Interior design director, independent hospitality design studio (Hong Kong SAR)
Yunnan Mountain Resort — Nature-Inspired Art Collection
Yunnan Province, China
Scope: Vibrant landscape-inspired canvases — bold brushwork in cobalt, jade, and amber — placed against the dark feature walls of each room to echo the dramatic mountain scenery visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. A second series of smaller framed works in the same palette ties the bedside wall to the room's natural colour story.
“Scale was the main challenge — we needed consistent large-format output across 94 pieces for a property with very high ceilings and wide corridors. The pre-shipment photography sign-off process meant we approved every piece before it left the factory, which removed a lot of the risk from our side.” — Procurement lead, resort development group (Yunnan, China)
Shanghai Private Villa — Classical European Art Scheme
Shanghai, China
Scope: A symmetrical pair of oversized oil paintings — rich floral still-lifes in the European academic tradition — anchoring the fireplace wall of a formal reception salon. The gold-leaf frames were matched to the room's existing gilded sconces and moulding profile. Production included a pre-shipment colour approval photograph and white-glove crating for fragile frame components.
“The client had an existing frame style throughout the property, and matching it on custom art pieces was non-negotiable. We supplied physical samples of the existing finish — the production team matched it closely enough that our client couldn’t distinguish the new frames from the originals.” — Lead designer, luxury residential design studio (Shanghai, China)
Guangzhou Medical Centre — Healing Environment Art Program
Guangzhou, Guangdong, China
Scope: A calming art programme designed with healthcare environments in mind: soft botanical and nature-inspired giclée prints in muted greens, warm whites, and pale blues. All works were produced on anti-glare, wipe-clean surfaces with rounded-corner frames — designed to suit the practical requirements of clinical spaces. Delivery was phased by floor to avoid disruption to operations.
“Infection control requirements meant we couldn’t take chances on surface materials or delivery timing — we needed phased installation by floor to fit around the facility’s operations schedule. Both the phasing and the compliance documentation arrived exactly as agreed.” — Facilities procurement manager, regional healthcare group (Guangzhou, China)
